We never saw Nelena’s relationship and how happy they were the first time, and we only ever saw not even half of it the second time around.
I mean, yeah, everyone suspected it, but we never saw their love in public. Only a month or so of it, and even then we didn’t see a lot because Nick was busy with his Who I Am tour.

Nick can be shy and sensitive around girls, especially in public, I think everyone has figured that out. No one actually knows how inlove they were, because we never saw it. We only ever saw the hand holding and the small smiles. There could have been a lot more love hidden when they held their private relationship.
